Privacy Policy

This page explains how the public MoveDefense marketing site uses analytics, attribution, and contact forms. It does not apply to private customer dashboards, driver logs, route records, uploads, internal APIs, or demo data inside the authenticated MoveDefense app.

What We Track On Public Pages

On public marketing and help pages, MoveDefense may record basic attribution so we can understand which pages and campaigns lead to demo, pilot, or contact requests.

First-touch and last-touch source, medium, referrer, landing page, and UTM campaign fields.
Public page views and button clicks, unless analytics is turned off in Cookie preferences.
Pilot and contact form events, unless analytics is turned off in Cookie preferences.

Consent Categories

Necessary: keeps your consent choice and public form attribution working. This category is always on.

Analytics: allows GA4, Plausible, or Umami analytics to load on public marketing pages only. Analytics is on by default and can be turned off in Cookie preferences.

Marketing: would allow advertising or remarketing tags. Marketing is off by default, and no ad pixels are currently configured on this site.

Attribution Storage

Attribution is stored first-party in your browser's localStorage for about 90 days. A small first-party cookie may record that attribution exists. The attribution values are attached to a pilot or contact request only when you submit a public form.

We do not use browser fingerprinting. We do not store sensitive fleet operations, customer route data, driver logs, internal records, uploaded files, or private app data in marketing cookies or localStorage.

Search Console And Search Queries

Google Search Console may show aggregated search queries that brought people to public MoveDefense pages. Those reports come from Google. The public site does not try to extract private search terms from your browser.

Private App Separation

The authenticated MoveDefense app is separate from this marketing site. Customer dashboards, operator login screens, driver workflows, API routes, internal logs, uploaded evidence, and demo data should not load this marketing analytics script.

If you are using the private app, the operational records there are governed by the app's customer data handling practices, not by public marketing attribution.
